Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known for his role in the film 'Birdman. As a versatile actor, he has the ability to play both dramatic and comedic characters. His career has seen him play a variety of love-interest characters and he's appeared in some action thrillers. As a teen, he became interested in performing and acting. In his early years as young adults He tried his hand at stand-up comics. His comedy career did not go well, but it helped pave the way to the path to a career in acting. To be successful as a comic and performer, he was hired in the role of a cameraman with a local cable television station. He realized his real passion was in front the camera when he was working at the station. After that, he was offered a TV role, appearing in a number of seasons of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. So it was not a surprise the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known television actor. His comedic performances brought him fame and he embarked upon an acting career who had high hopes. He gained even more fame in the role of Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities in his acting skills and began to work in direction and production. In 2014, his performance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous awards and nods.
