Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The actress was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16, Alexandra played the leading role in several dramas on television. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film), was critically and highly rated commercially. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. One of these is the British biographical documentary Control, Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. She also served in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
