Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in film and TV is well known for movies such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business at an early age. When she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several television dramas. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall. The film was nominated for an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects through the years. Some of these include the British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She also served part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
